I purchased a couple of new products from Stila new summer collection. The long waiting time was finally rewarded, when I spotted these items on Beautybay.com. There were so many things I wanted to try, but at the end I had to set a beauty budget for myself and only got a couple things that I *coughing* “really needed”.
I shall let the pictures do the talking.
When I got the Stila Set & Bronze Baked Powder Trio, I was little bit surprised that it didn’t look the same like the picture on the website. Which isn’t anything new, because I already experienced it once before with the Stila Baked Cheek Duo Pink Glow. But I really love that blush, so I have hopes for this Set & Bronze Baked Powder Trio.
Next with the Stila All Over Shimmer in Bronze Shimmer. Once again, was also surprised about this shimmer highlighter. From the name Bronze Shimmer, I kind of expected it to be darker – perhaps more orangy undertone. But this lovely one is just a settle neutral, almost skin tone like with hint of gold shimmer highlighter. From the first look, not bad at all.
I think these two will work great together and hopefully complement each other, bringing out the “inner glow” in me. Cheesy. Review will be coming right after testing the products.
Swatches of the two together.
What do you think about the swatches?

I love the bronzer! Looks really subtle but effective

Yes the bronzer and the luminizer both look great to me! But it surprisingly has more shimmers that I expected
I hope it works on me!
The Bronze Baked Powder Trio looks very interesting and pretty! I’ve been wanting to try a product with those compacts that shave the product off, but so far I haven’t found the right one. Maybe I’ll give this one a try–the colors are beautiful! But the thing I’m really eyeing is the bronze luminizer. I was thinking about getting the Chanel Soleil de Tan Sheer Illuminating Fluid last week, but I just couldn’t justify spending that much on what is essentially a bottle of liquid shimmer that I probably won’t even use that often. This Stila one looks like it could be comparable and at a fraction of the price–I might have to get this one
Yeah, you should try the Stila Bronze Shimmer, it definitely wont hurt your wallet
have you heard about the Benefit Sun Beam? Im now testing both products, and they are pretty much the same – from packaging to the color.. but Stila is still more affordable in this case too!
Oh, I was under the impression that Benefit Sun Beam was more golden and the Stila was more bronzey–is that not the case? They both look gorgeous, but I’m definitely looking for something more like the Chanel one–very bronzey for summer!
There are only a slight difference between the two, but after using them both now – I really cant tell the difference after blending!
I have swatched three of those liquid luminizer (benefit knock-off much?) and it’s funny that they more or less blend down to the same naturally glowy appearance. I guess they are just doing the bottle appeal assuming people would only buy one shade…Anyway, if I ever spotted at sale, I might get the pale pink one as a brow bone/nose bridge highlighter, since I like how light and weightless it goes on.
Wow, really they swatches the same?! How weird is that, I was thinking trying out the other colors too. Since this one isnt bad at all
they totally are Benefit dupe! I sure dont mind paying less tho!
I used to use one of these. It really has great effects, it leaves a smooth and fine highlights.
Love the shimmer!
I love how natural they look too, the shimmers are so fine
they hardly stands out after blending, but it still gives you a natural glow. Love, love!
