Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain strongly reminds me of Clinique’s Chubby Stick. A thick, colorful crayon that looks like it should be in a kindergartener’s hand. They look so fun, yet refreshing. Revlon have come out with a dupe version of Chubby Stick and the pricing is more affordable than the Clinique’s version.

It took me a bit longer to warm up with these balm stains. At first I didn’t think the colors that I chose, weren’t the most flattering to me. But the more I play around with the balm stains, the better I like them. So much that I want to get the other colors too!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is a mix of lip balm and lip stain. The finish is natural looking glossy lips. After it have faded – it left behind a stain on your lips, making them look even more kissable! My confession? I love the after look of stained lips! It looks like I just had a Popsicle, flirty but innocent looking. Kinda like No Makeup-makeup ;)

I only got two colors, I need more! It really sucks, that we don’t have Revlon cosmetics here. I got mine from eBay. The colors I got are in Honey and Cherish. Since I’m more a neutral look kind of girl, I would have guessed that Honey would have become my best friend. But I actually fell in love with Cherish and been using it non-stop. When using such a bold color, I thought it would be harder for me to combine it with usual, casual makeup looks. But it wasn’t the case with this fabulous pink color, which has a cooler undertone. Because of the sheer formulation of the balm stain, the color is very much buildable. Of course, you can also mix and layer the balm stains together to get the unique color that you want.

Lots of people have said that Honey is like “their lips but better” color. My natural lip color is actually redder comparing to Honey. It’s more close to a nude color. If I keep building it on, it can turn into a richer mauve color. My feelings for Honey keep changing, because in some lighting the color looks browner and then sometimes pinker. I prefer it more when it looks like a pinkish nude rather than brown. When this color fades, it left a light pink stain on my lips. Cherish in the other hand, leaves behind a hot pink stain!

I have Honey too–Honey and Precious are my two favorite colors of all the ones I have, but it’s a shame cuz I hardly ever wear them due to the severe drying effects :/

Aww, it really dry out your lips that bad :( sometimes they dry out my lips too, but I notice it only happens when I don’t apply lip balm underneath first. But funny, because this stuff suppose to be a mixture of lip balm and lip stain!
