MAC Face and Body Collection Light Touch, Day Gleam and Warming Heart Pressed Pigments Swatches - For Luminous Skin
Yes, another haul & swatch time at the For Luminous Skin’s house. This time will be the Face & Body collection turn. I wasn’t so into the Pro Sculpting Cream to be honest, the idea does intrigued me. I did some swatches at the MAC store, they seem creamy and rich in pigment. But I’m not sure how practical are they for daily use, and I’m not normally the kind that likes facial contouring in my every day makeups. Surely, they are great for photography and makeup artists.
But the ones that makes me scream with joy are the Pressed Pigments of the Face & Body collection. Oh My Goodness. Seriously these are the best things invented by man, right after cheesecake! The sparkles that these Pressed Pigments give, are up to the roof lol. They are so sparkly and shiny, you don’t even need a flashlight when walking home at night. Cause these babies got some lights of their own. If I haven’t convince you how Ah-Ma-Zing the Pressed Pigments are, then you must see the swatches!
Light Touch is the lightest out of the six limited-edition Pressed Pigments. It also reflects lights the best and has the most obvious shimmers. Lighht Touch is a frosty tone light peach and has mostly silver shimmers.
Warming Heart is the second lightest Pressed Pigment. The shimmers particles in these are similar to Light Touch, but the pigment itself is a light pale rosy color. Warming Heart looks similar to a flesh tone. But because it has silvery shimmers in it, makes the color appear more frosty.
Day Gleam is darker compared to the two previous, Light Touch and Warming Heart. Day Gleam is like muted old, dusty, gold color. Since Day Gleam is slightly a darker color, the shimmers in this aren’t so flashy and defined – but the shimmers are still obvious. The shimmer color seems to be the same in Warming Heart and Light Touch. Day Gleam’s dark pigment is a little overpowering the shimmers, therefore the color doesn’t look as frosty as the the other two.
Since the Pressed Pigments have so much shimmers in them. It was very hard for me to take pictures of them, since the camera couldn’t focus. I know the pictures aren’t the best, that’s also the reason why I wanted to put up two pictures of the swatches – So you can get a better idea. And trust me, these pictures don’t do them justice. But I hope, these are somewhat helpful
