Don’t you just hate when you done perfecting the makeup in the morning, hoping that it will stay like that all day. And the next time you got a chance to check yourself out in the mirror – all you see is Greasy-Grace looking back at you, with the same horror in her eyes! Without notice, your face had turn into an oil fountain. Hope that image going to stuck in your head for a while, because I’m sure it gonna last on me longer that I want to lol.
Have I found an answer to this oily problem? Umm, close enough.. Still interested to read this review?! C’mon, you got nothing better to do anyway.. so read up!
For the past few weeks the L’Oreal Nude Magique BB Powder has been my most reach out product. Although it isn’t all flawlessly perfect and has some minor downside to it. But some how, I always want to get my hands on it when it’s time to set my makeup.. And us girls know what it means, when something like this happens. Yup, it’s LOVE!
I tell you what I like about the L’Oreal BB powder; the finish look is mattified, but doesn’t make the face look cakey. Even when I keep applying layer after layer. So the BB powder is buildable and always leaves the skin looking natural. I chose the medium skin tone. It’s a bit fairer to my own skin color. But on skin, it doesn’t show much of a difference. The L’Oreal BB Powder is really good for touching up during the day if needed. Keep the makeup looking nice afterwards, without looking too powdery even after touching up multiple times. And it doesn’t clogged up pores!
Things I hope that could be better with this BB powder; It mattifies the skin when first applied, but during the day – the t-zone area get oilier, even though the rest of the face still stay matte. Coverage wise is weak, could almost say that it doesn’t cover much of anything. You can keep building it up, but the coverage doesn’t seem to improve. But that’s why it can provide the natural look, no matter how much you put on. I wish the color selection could be improve too, they only have 2 shades – to fair and medium skin tones. Though the coverage isn’t that great, I think it still manage to even out my skin tone about a tad.
In the above after pictures, I seriously layered it on HARD! So you see the finish look is still natural, but I definitely need to use a concealer before heading out with that face. It ain’t Halloween yet!
The idea of this L’Oreal Nude Magique BB Powder reminds me of the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. Da-aang, 2 long name in 1 sentence. Whew! If you like the Maybelline version, you may end up loving this. I tried the Dream Matte Powder before, after being a victim of overhyped product. Seriously, can you relate? Lol, anyhow – I didn’t enjoy using it as I have hoped. With the Maybelline, I didn’t feel I had anything on, literally. It surely didn’t provide any coverage nor mattified my skin.
And the last pictures of me with full face makeup and using the Loreal Nude Magique BB Powder as a setting powder. Looks pretty good eh? Well, good enough for me
In swatches, this BB powder comes off pretty powdery. But don’t worry – on skin, it behaves fine.
I’m thinking of doing a comparison of this with the Maybelline BB Powder that I got from Asia. I haven’t been consistent of using that one yet. I need to tuck away my L’Oreal BB Powder, so I can switch to the Maybelline. But I know it’s going to be hard to be apart from this BB Powder!

I’m having a tiny problem I can’t seem to be able to subscribe your feed, I’m using google reader by the way.
I just checked, there shouldn’t be any problem with the RSS Feeds subscription box

Hi,
Nice review!
Just wanted to add, while I like the powder a lot, I find the shade is much too dark for me. Even though I am olive skinned, the light option is better for me. So anyone out there who is usually medium, be careful you might need light in this product!
Hi Maria,
thanks for your feedback. Funny that you found the powder to be too dark, because I find it to be lighter than I’ve expected. I usually like to choose something a tad darker so it would match down to my neck. I wonder how it can look too dark on you, since the powder doesn’t have much coverage and is almost translucent?!
