L'Oreal Color Riche Nail Polishes Review and Swatches -
Before I wasn’t much of nail polish wearer. It was more of a hastle to me. They took me ages to do and then my nails would chipped in a day or so, or got messed up before they go a chance to fully dry out. Thanks to dry fast top coats these days and nail polish companies who developed better technologies, to make the nail polishes dry faster and last longer on our nails.
My new favorite polishes are from L’Oreal the Color Riche Nail line. I originally saw reviews and swatches from other beauty bloggers, thought they were something I wanted to try. So I went a head and purchased three of these polishes.
But recently I realized that my L’Oreal Color Riche Nail polishes are different from the reviews I saw before. The L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Nail line released in the States are different from European one. Both color collections are nothing alike, neither the packaging nor the SIZE of them. The European Color Riche Nail are based from mini collection, but the Colour Riche Nail from the States are full sizes. We pay more but got the smaller versions?! Yup, gotta embrace euros.
Putting a side my bitterness and moving on to the review. I absolutely love these nail polishes! The formula was really easy to work with. Lasting power in the Color Riche polishes are surprisingly impressive! All three of the color that I purchased lasted almost a full week without any chipping. I painted about three coats plus one top coat, just how I always do anyway. I would say on the sixth or seventh day, I started to see a little chipping but nothing majorly bothering.
The brush is wide and slightly rounded, so painting was almost effortless and it was easy to control too. Says the girl who used to hate painting her nails! But it’s good to know, that my hard work is not going waste. After painting my nails perfectly then they get chipped in couple days – not cool! However, I would understand if you’re not a fan of the wide round brush, it might not work for your nail shapes or how you prefer to paint your nails.
My color picks from L’Oreal Color Riche Nail are 612 Green Couture, 302 Exotic Canaries and 209 Ingenious Rose. My favorite from the three is, you guessed it, Ingenious Rose. This color to me is the perfect combo of baby pink and pink. The shade is just so right for me, I usually find baby pink little washout looking and normal pink can often look a bit too bright and tacky.
Ingenious Rose and Exotic Canaries are sheerer than Green Couture. But I can get away only two coats with Ingenious Rose, with the yellow Exoticcanaries I prefer three or a forth coat on some nails, because of the sheerness of it. I would describe it as a true basic yellow tone, not too bright or too dark. It doesn’t have any undertone that reflects the yellow shade.
Green Couture is the most pigmented out of the three shades. You can definitely get away with two coats easily, the color is like deep forest color. Not too dark that you wouldn’t able to see the green in darker lighting. I found it chic looking and easy to wear.
After loving the shades and the formula of Color Riche Nail, I want to go out and grab a few more!
